In brief
Collect is the Crafts Council's annual art fair for contemporary craft and collectible design, held at Somerset House in London for 23 years. Galleries and organisations chosen by an external advisory panel present work by around 400 living artists: tabletop objects, collectible furniture, wall art, wearable art, jewellery and sculpture in glass, ceramics, textile, wood, lacquer, metal and other materials, with the Collect Open platform for individual artists. It is aimed at collectors, museum curators and interior designers; preview days precede the public opening.
