In brief
The Grassimesse is an international selling fair and art exhibition for contemporary applied art, craft and design, held at the GRASSI Museum für Angewandte Kunst in Leipzig. Exhibitors chosen each year by an expert jury offer one-off pieces, small series and exemplary industrial products in textiles, fashion, jewellery, ceramics, glass, furniture, metal, leather, paper and toys. It continues the historic Grassimessen founded in 1920 and, since its revival in 1997, takes place every year on the last weekend of October.
