In brief

Handwerk & Design is the contemporary crafts and design section of the International Crafts Fair (IHM) at the Munich exhibition centre, where makers show and sell one-off pieces and small series. It hosts the special shows SCHMUCKmünchen, which the organiser describes as an international exhibition of contemporary art jewellery held for over 65 years, TALENTEmünchen for young makers from around the world, and EXEMPLAmünchen with its live workshops. It is open to both trade and public visitors.
