In brief

The Mostra Internazionale dell'Artigianato (MIDA) has been held in Florence since 1931 and celebrates handmade work, showing pieces by Italian and international artisans. It takes place every spring in the Fortezza da Basso, the 16th-century Medici fortress that is now the city's main exhibition venue, and is organised by Firenze Fiera.
