In brief
Ruraq Maki, hecho a mano is the exhibition and sale of traditional folk art and crafts run by Peru's Ministry of Culture, created in 2007 to safeguard traditional crafts as intangible cultural heritage. Artisan collectives and communities from across Peru sell their work directly, alongside talks on folk art, museum displays and demonstration workshops; editions are held in July and December. Dates for the next edition have not yet been published on the official site.
