In short
The CDFA-CFPPA de la Gironde is the agricultural apprenticeship and adult training centre of the public agricultural education establishment Bordeaux Gironde, at 87 avenue du Général de Gaulle in Blanquefort, with courses from CAP to engineering degree. Its Bordeaux-Gironde cooperage school, based at Château Dillon, the lycée's wine estate, prepares the CAP in cooperage, teaching the making of barrels, casks and tuns in a purpose-built 410 m² workshop inaugurated in January 2017. The centre also trains in viticulture and oenology, from the CAP in vine and wine to the BTS in viticulture-oenology, on the establishment's three estates: Château La Tour Blanche in Sauternes, Château Grand Baril and Réal Caillou near Libourne, and Château Dillon.
