Hattori Nutrition College is a vocational school in Tokyo that trains cooks, nutritionists, pastry chefs and bakers. It traces its history to the Tokyo Higher Nutrition School founded in 1939, took its present name in 1957 and in 1959 became the first school designated under Japan's cooks law. Programmes include one- and two-year day courses and an evening course in cookery, a patissier and boulanger course, a two-year nutritionist course and a master course; graduates of the cookery and nutrition courses obtain the national cook and nutritionist licences. The school is in Sendagaya, Shibuya ward.
