EHL, formerly the Ecole hôtelière de Lausanne, held its first classes in 1893 at the Hôtel d'Angleterre in Lausanne and is now a hospitality business school with campuses in Lausanne, Singapore and Passugg, near Chur. Alongside its Bachelor's and Master's degrees in hospitality management, it offers a two-year Associate Degree in International Culinary Arts and Restaurant Management on the Lausanne campus, covering cooking, pastry, restaurant service, coffee, wine and mixology, with a 24-week internship in a partner restaurant and training in demonstration kitchens, culinary and oenology labs and a Michelin-starred training restaurant. At Passugg, the EHL Hotel School offers Swiss professional diplomas, including a Culinary Arts specialisation.
